This refers to the inspection conducted by Messrs. W. D. Johnson, C. C. Harbuck,
and J. P. Roger of this office during the period September 1-30, 1986, of
activities aut
-ized by NRC Operating Licenses DPR-51 and NPF-6.for
Arkansas Nuclecr One, Units 1 and 2, and to the discussion of our findings
with Mr. S. Quennoz and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection . included operational safety verification,
maintenance, surveillance, followup on a previously identified item, followup
on a' Licensee Event Report, integrated engineering safeguar s test, startup
testing, disposal of treated waste, and followup on IE Bulletin 85-03. Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the.
inspectors. The inspection findings are documented in the enclosed inspection
report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.
