-6400 North. Dixie Highway Newport, MI 48166 Gentlemen We received your letter of October 16, 1986, requesting instructor certification examinations for 5 Fermi 2 employees. This is to inform you that Region III cannot support your request at this. time.
It is our present policy that applicants for " Instructor Certifications" be allowed to instruct providing the following criteria are met:
1.
Satisfactory completion of similar training which is designed to prepare an individual to take the Nuclear Regulatory Comission senior reactor-operator license examinations.
2.
Certification by responsible facility management that the individuals.
have demonstrated senior reactor operator level abilities and are prepared to take a Nuclear Regulatory Comission senior operator level' examination.
3.
The individuals ~are enrolled in a requalification program.
The-applications submitted with your request support these criteria; therefore, the individuals listed below may be used as instructors until an appropriate examination date can be scheduled.
