Dear Sir:
This application for an amendment to the James A. FitzPatrick Technical Specifications proposes changes to the plant staff organization.
The proposed changes add an Assistant Shift Supervisor with an SRO license to the plant organization and provides additional administrative controls concerning assignment of personnel involved in fuel movement.
These changes incorporate commitments regarding the requirements of the NRC NUREG-0737 Item I.A.l.3.
Enclosed for filing are three (3) signed originals and nineteen (19) copies of a document titled " Application for Amendment to Operating License," together with forty (40) copies of Attachments I and II, comprising a statement of the proposed changes to Appendix A of the Technical Specifications and the associated Safety Evaluation.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91, a copy of this application and the associated attachments is being provided to the designated New York State official.
In accordance with 10 CFR 170.12, a check in the amount of
$150.00 is enclosed as payment of the application fee for the review of tha proposed changes to the Technical Specifications.
