AUDIT (Pilot Program) 0F ARKANSAS NUCLEAR ONE UNIT 1 REQUALIFICATION l EXAMINATIONS On April 9-10, 1987, NRC audited the regularly scheduled Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO) Unit 1 requalification examir.ations given to employees of your company i who are licensed to operate your ANO Unit 1 facility. At the conclusion of.the '
examinations, the preliminary audit findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed report. Although specific weaknesses were noted and some aspects of the requalification were considered marginal, the overall requalification program for Unit 1 was rated satisfactory. This l was due in large part to the prompt responsiveness and cooperation of the training staff to address and correct NRC identified weaknesses. l Should you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact us.
