Dear Mr. Standerfer:

The Three Mile Island Cleanup Project Directorate has reviewed the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation Generic Letters 86-01 through 86-15. As a result of our review we have determined that Generic Letters 86-03 and 86-14 are applicable to your facility._ Generic Letter 86-14 requires a response. You should lengthen the " compliance by" date indicated in 86-14 by the number of additional days that have elapsed from the date of issuance of the generic letter to the date of this letter.

Generic Letters 86-07, 86-08, and 86-10 are applicable to your facility or may be of general interest. The staff has determined that no action on your part is required relative to these generic letters.

Copies of Generic Letters 86-01 through 86-15 are attached. If there are any questions or concerns with regard to applicability or compliance, please contact Michael Masnik of my staff.
