the December 26, 1985 trip in which a faulty compression lug termination caused the loss of the Integrated Control System (ICS) control power.

This program was implemented to provide assurance that potential lug failures were identified and corrected. As a result of this program over 44,000 terminations have been subjected to inspection.

The attached report provides the results of the work performed under the Electrical Termination Inspection Program.
