Dear Sir:
Arizona Nuclear Power Project (ANPP) is submitting the attached proposed Security Plan amendments, pursuant to 10 CFR 73.55, as amended.
The attached proposed amendments define how the revised requirements of 10 CFR 73.55 paragraph (e)(1) will be met at PVNGS.
Additionally, in accordance with 10 CFR 73.55, ANPP proposes to implement the revised requirements of paragraph (e)(1) within 180 days after Commission approval of the attached proposed amendments. The approved PVNGS Security Plan presently meets the requirements of 10 CFR 73.55, paragraphs (a), (d)(1), (d)(7) and (d)(9), as amended.
The attachment contains Safeguards Information which must be protected against unauthorized disclosure in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.790(d).
Please ensure appropriate steps are taken to safeguard its contents.
