License Condition 2.C.(7), Attachment 3, Item (2), to Facility Operating License NPP Emergency Response Capabilities
Dear Mr. Denton:
The purpose of this letter is to provide the status of License Condition 2.C.(7),,
Item (2) concerning emergency response capabilities for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS).
This License Condition requires that Kansas Gas and Electric Company have a fully functional Technical Support Center, and Emergency Operations Facility and a fully operable Emergency Response Facility Information System (ERFIS) prior to restart following the first refueling outage.
The Technical Support Center and Emergency Operations Facility at WCGS have been determined to be fully functional.
These facilities are maintained in accordance with existing procedures.
The Emergency Response Pacility Information System, which includes the Safety Parameter Display System, has been determined to be fully operable.
This system is maintained in accordance with existing procedures.
Therefore the requirements of License Condition 2.C.(7), Attachment 3, Item (2) are fully satisfied.
