We have received a copy of your application dated September 16, 1986, which was filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (0NRR) for review. This application requested relief pertaining to code inspection of longitudinal and circumferential pipe welds for the Haddam Neck Plant.
The fee required pursuant to 10 CFR 170 was not remitted with your application. The ONRR staff considers this to be a new application inasmuch as review of your April 9,1984 application was completed by their May 12, 1986 letter and Safety Evaluation. The second paragraph of the May 12 letter stated that a new submittal should be made if your Company desires relief from the Code required piping examinations.
On this basis, your September 16 application is not considered to be additional or supplemental information for your April 9 application.
Therefore, it is requested that your Company remit the application fee of $150 for your September 16, 1986 request to our office. Your Company will be billed for any additional costs for the review of your application in accordance with 10 CFR 170.12(c) and 170.21.
