Issuance of Amendment No. 29 to Facility Operating License No. NPF Susquehanna Stean Electric Statior, Unit 2 The Nuclear Pegulatory Comission has issued the enclosec Amendment No. 29 to Facility Operatino License No. NPF-22 for the Susouehanna Steam Electric Station, Unit 2.

This was issued as an emeroencv amendment in accordance with 10 CFP 50.91 (aH5) and is in response to your letters dated September 12, 1986, recuesting an emergency change to the Susquehanna Unit 2 Specifications.

This amendment revises the Susquehanna Unit 2 Technical Specifications to delete the applicability of the provisions of Technical Specification 3.0.4 for the purposes of entering Operational Condition 5 from a defueled condition during the first refueling outage.

The enclosed Technical Specification page replaces the page currently in the. Technical Specifications.

A copy of the related safety evaluation supporting Amendment No. 29 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-22 is enclosed.
