Dear Mr. Keppler:
Your letter of May 2, 1986 discussed an allegation concerning an individual working at the D. C. Cook Nuclear Plant.
It was related to the potential use of a controlled substance. Your letter also requested that this allegation be reviewed to determine the validity and significance of the issue and that appropriate actions be taken as necessary.
A thorough investigation was conducted, and on May 13, 1986 the D. C. Cook Plant Security Manager advised us by letter that the results of this investigation indicated the allegation to be without substance.
Documentation supporting the results of the investigation and review is being maintained at the Cook Plant Security Office for further review by Region III in accordance with your request.
This document has been prepared following Corporate procedures which I
incorporate a reasonable set of controls to insure its accuracy and l
completeness prior to signature by the undersigned.
