BROWN'S FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) UNITS 1, 2, AND 3 - NRC OIE INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-259/86-38, 50-260/86-38, AND 50-296/86-38 SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSE TO VIOLATION In TVA's BFN February 11. 1987, response to the subject inspection report, we indicated a completion date of June 1, 1987, for Action Item 2 under the Management Controls Section-implement long-term improvements by writing a corporate standard for Special Nuclear Material (SNM).

The corporate standard for SNM has been written and reviewed, but implementation has been delayed because of a heavy workload in the Nuclear Procedures Staff. The procedure will be issued for implementation by June.26, 1987. This revised date was coordinated with Art Johnson of your staff on May 29, 1987.

Enclosed is a revision page which should be substituted for page 8 of enclosure 1 of.TVA's BFN February 11, 1987 response.
