1.
The Naval Surface Weapons Center requests an extension of the subject license without modification. A copy of the current license amendment enclosure (1) of this lettter.
2.
The justification for this extension is that a complete revision of our Special Nuclear Materials Program is underway which will soon be drastically reduce the amount of material on hand, and completely revising our License conditions.
3.
This license will continue to be required as more than 200 grams of material will still be required for our work.
4.

Expiration date: June 30, 1987.
All other conditions of this license shall remain the same.
Enclosed is a copy of our Safety Evaluation Report in support of this amendment.
