NA .0tE IMf3 00CUME' I AS CECCNTh0LtD Pursuant to NRC/0NRR draft review and approval, please find attached five (5) copies of Revision 20 to the Oconee Nuclear Station Security Plan. Revision 20 to the security plan addresses the recent Nuclear Regulatory Commission amendments to 10CFR 73.55.

Duke Power Company agrees to implement the proposed changes to the Security Plan which address the amended requirements of 73.55(a), (d)(2), (d)(7), (d)(9) and (e)(1) within 180 days af ter NRC/0NRR approval. Proposed changes to the Security Plan which address the amended requirements of 73.55(d)(1) shall be implemented within 60 days of NRC/0NRR approval.

Specific plan changes are addressed in the attachment. Revision 20 does not decrease the effectiveness of the Oconee Nuclear Station Security Plan.

This material is applicable to the security provisions at Oconee Nuclear Station; l therefore, Duke requests that this material be withheld from public disclosure l pursuant to 10CFR 73.21.
