An unannounced in plant radiological safety inspection at the Beaver Valley
Power Station, Units 1 and 2, was conducted on October 20-24, 1986. The areas
examined during the inspection are identified in the enclosed inspection report
and included the following:
status of previously-identified items at Unit 1,
the preoperational activities at Unit 2, and the program for receipt, handling,
and control of new fuel at Unit 2.
Within the scope of this review, no violations were identified. No reply to
this letter is required. Your cooperation with us is appreciated.
