RII Catawba Nuclear Station Emergency Response Facility Appraisal 50-413/85-39, 50-414/85-36 Our letter of June 6, 1986 transaitted our response to open items identified in Appendix B to the subject appraisal. The response to Item No. 6 stated:
"A Nuclear Station Modification has been developed and some preliminary design work has begun to double the size of the OSC and add some needed facilities.
This project is currently scheduled for work to begin sometime in 1987."
We wish to amend this response as follows, since the Nuclear Station Modification has been cancelled:
"Rather than expand the size of the OSC, ice will be using administrative techniques to control the overcrowding in the OSC."
