Beaver Valley Power Station - Unit No. 2 Docket No. 50-412 Change in MSIV's Used at BVPS-2 Potential Significant Deficiency Reports 85-02 and 87-03 Gentlemen:

Beaver Valley Power Station Unit No. 2 is in the process of replacing the Main Steam Isolation Valves.

The valves to be used are Atwood Morrill wye globe valves.

Since the Crosby ball valves are no longer used, BVPS-2 considers the issues icentified in SDR's 85-02 and 87-03 to no longer be applicable.
