In the Matter of ) Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-328 SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT (SQN) - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE 87-06, AMENDMENT TO SECTION 3/4 4.9, " PRESSURE / TEMPERATURE LIMITS, REACTOR COOLANT SYSTEM" In accordance with 10 CFR Part 50.90, enclosed is a proposed amendment to license DPR-77 that modifies Section 3/4 4.9, " Pressure / Temperature Limits, Reactor Coolant System," of the Sequoyah unit 1 technical specifications.

Specifically, the proposed amendment would delete Table 4.4-5, " Reactor Vessel Material Surveillance Program - Withdrawal Schedule," from the unit 1 technical specifications.

Three enclosures are provided in support of the requested technical specification amendment. The change that would be affected by the proposed amendment is identified in enclosure 1. The justification for the proposed amendment is provided in enclosure 2. A determination of no significant hazards consideration, performed pursuant to 10 CFR Part 50.92, is provided in enclosure 3.

Also enclosed is a check for the $150 amendment application fee as required by 10 CFR Part 170.12.
