DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 UPDATE TO RESPONSE TO NRC NOTICES OF DEVIATION INSPECTION REPORT NOS.: 50-445/86-03 AND 50-446/86-02 50-445/86-07 AND 50-446/86-05

Reference I and References 2 and 3 provided our responses to Notices of Deviation, Item E.3.c (445/8603-D-13) and Item I.2 (445/8607-D-10),
respectively.
Item E.3.c involved three cases where the minimum separation criteria for pipe clearances were not met and no documentation existed justifying this condition.
Item I.2 involved the case where the initial ERC reinspection as well as the overview inspection failed to identify these deviating conditions.
In both items Deviation Report (DR) number I-M-LBC0-148-DR-3 of August 22, 1986 (Item E.3.c had incorrectly given the date as August 28,1986) was initiated to document the deviating conditions.
Nanconformance Report (NCR) number M-25340N was generated as a result of the DR to disposition the deviating conditions. The corrective action for both responses included the dispositioning of NCR M-25340N. The NCR was originally scheduled for disposition by June 1, 1987. The engineering evaluation has
-I taken longer than anticipated. Accordingly, our date for closing this nonconformance report is hereby revised to July 15, 1987.
