No violatiihns of NRC requirements were identified within the scope of this

inspection, however, your attention is directed to the several observations we

have documented in Paragraphs 6 through-9 of the enclosed inspection report.

We believe they are items worthy of consideration as additions to those you

'have already identified in your self-evaluation of the exercise as needing

,

some corrective action.

In general, our evaluation of your performance during the exercise indicated

that-your staff was well. trained and prepared to respond to the emergency

situations of the scenario.

It appears that you have made significant

improvement in this' portion of your emergency preparedness program. We will,

however, continue to monitor your progress in this area through routine and

special inspection efforts.

In accordance with 10 0FR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure

will~be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
