REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON V0GTLE OFFSITE DOSE CALCULATION MANUAL 1
In a November 13, 1986, conference call between NRC and Georgia Power Company, the staff requested clarification regarding Section 2.3, "l'eteorological Model," of the Vogtle Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (0DCM). This clarification-includes identification of the specific meteorological data used to calculate the historical annual averages, the recirculation factors used, and the corrections made for the effects of the cooling towers.
The necessary revision to Section 2.3 should be submitted for staff review by December 1,1986 in order to support the Vogtle Unit I fuel load schedule.
