Inspection No. 50-354/87-11
This refers to the routine resident safety inspection by Mr. R. Borchardt
and others conducted from April 14, 1987 to May 11, 1987 at the Hope Creek
Nuclear Generating Station, Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey. The inspection
consisted of observation of activities, document reviews and interviews.
The findings were discussed with Mr. C. Connor of your staff.
In addition,
the inspection report documents the results of a management meeting held on
April 24, 1987, pertaining to the Engineering Department's performance and
planned improvements.
This letter also acknowledges receipt of your response dated March 13,
1987, to the violation cited in Inspection Report 50-354/87-02.
Your
response and the corrective actions taken will be examined during a future
inspection.
No reply to this letter is required.
