SUBJECT:
MEETING WITH DOE TO REVIEW CHAPTER 5 0F THE SAFR LMR PRELIMINARY SAFETY INFORMATION DOCUMENT (PSID)
The subject meeting represents the third of a series of meetings to be held with DOE and its contractors to discuss NRC comments on the DOE sponsored Sodium Advanced Fast Reactor (SAFR) conceptual LMR design proposed by Rockwell International Corporation. The meeting will be held June 10, 1987 in RoomP-110.
An agenda is enclosed. Chapter 5 of the SAFR-PSID deals with the heat transport design and connected systems.
Reviewers for Chapter 5 should be prepared to discuss their comments with the Project Manager for this review (Cardis Allen) at least one week before the meeting with D0E.
