20014 FOLLOW-UP EVALUATION OF OPEN ITEMS FOR THE OYSTER CREEK NUCLEAR POW PLANT (A6808) - Oben-35-87

Dear Mr. Carrington:

As you are aware, EG&G Idaho, Inc. has been providing technical assistance to the NRC in support of the Systematic Evaluation Program (SEP).

Part of the work performed under FIN A6808, Project 5, has included the follow-up review of open items pertaining to certain SEP topics for the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station.

This letter is to formally transmit the results of these review activities.

The attached report includes descriptions of the open items, the additional information provided by the licensee, the review activities undertaken, the results obtained, and recommendations for additional action.

Briefly, the reported results indicate that the licensee actions in response to the open items will be acceptable if certain recommended actions are taken. As indicated above, further details are given in the report.
