Oyster' Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Technical Specification Change Request (TSCR) No.152 In accordance with 10CFR50.90 and 10CFR50.91 GPU Nuclear Corporation, operator of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Provisional Operating License No. DPR-16, requests changes to Appendix A of the license.
The subject TSCR involves Sections 3.1, 3.13, 4.1 and 4.13 of the technical specifications and are the result of implementing Items II.F.1.3 and II.E.4.2.7 of NUREG 0737. The NUREG items address the monitoring of high radiation levels in containment and isolation of containment vent and purge valves upon drywell high radiation levels.
We request that the license amendment become effective 60 days after issuance in order to accommodate procedural changes.
This change request has been reviewed in accordance with Section 6.5 of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Technical Specifications. Pursuant to 10CFR50.91 (b)(1), a copy of this change request has been sent to the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. A check for $150.00 is enclosed.
