Steam Generator Water Level Low-Low Trip Setpoint
Dear Sir:
This letter is to clarify the Ster.m Generator Water Level Low-Low Trip Setpoint value which has been previously identified as being 17.1%.
In SER Supplement No. 5 it appears the Staff identified the 17.1% trip setpoint value based on information contained in Reference (c).
Af ter evaluating the series of correspondence on this subject, we regretfully submit that the 17.1% trip setpoint stated in Reference (c) was a j
typographical error, and should have read 17.0%.
We would, however, like to l
note that the trip setpoint value identified in reference (b) is correct, and l
it is consistent with the Westinghouse Setpoint Methodology and the current draft of the Seabrook Station Technical Specifications.
We regret any inconvenience this error may have caused your Staff, and hope that this item will be clarified in the upcoming supplement to the SER.
