Dear Mr. Secretary:
I am opposed to any approval that would allow reracking the spent fuel rods to allow more to. be stored at the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant.
That plant is frought with problems.
Almost weekly
_ there is some malfunction.
I'm sure you know the history of it being built backwards on an earthquake fault.
We were sold that plant on the basis of it being cheap, safe owe r, with the waste stored somewhere else.
It certainly will. not be cheap power.
I doubt that we are safe with that ill-conceived, poorly built pl ant so cl ose.
Do not compound your errors by allowing nineteen years worth of spent fuel rods to be stored there as well.
