V0GTLE READINESS REVIEW PROGRAM - MODULE NO. 6 -
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT NRR has completed an initial review of Module 6, Electrical Equipment, which was presented to the NRC on April 14, 1986.
As a result of the review, one branch (Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems Branch) of the Office i

Analysis to RG 1.100. SRP 3.11 of EQ of Mechanical Electrical Equipment does not require direct compliance with this guide. This guide is primarily applicable to Section 3.10, Seismic Qualification of Cate-gory 1, Instrumentation and Electrical Equipment.

tests and analyses for environmental qualification of equipment. This paragraph states that IEEE Standard 323-1974 and Regulatory Guide 1.89 are used to establish acceptance criteria for environmental qualification of all safety-related equipment.
IEEE 323 paragraph 6.3.5, Vibration, requires consideration for seismic events in accordance with IEEE STD 344-1971 (Regulatory Guide 1.100) and other considerations.
