Dear Administrative Judges:
On April 4, 1986, the NRC Staff
(" Staff") filed its "Further Comments on the Statistical Inference Memorandum", together with the supporting
" Joint Affidavit of Dan Lurie and Evangelos Marinos Addressing the Board's Concerns on Statistical Inferences from CPRT Sampling." The Staff has since determined that some of the statements in the Joint Affidavit require further clarification and correction.
Accordingly, the Staff is filing the enclosed " Joint Affidavit of Dan Lurie and Evangelos Marinos Clarifying Our April 4, 1986 Joint Affidavit on Statistical Inferences from CPRT Sampling."
