TROJAN NUCLEAR PLANT By letter dated February 11, 1987, Portland General Electric Company submitted a request for relief from an inservice inspection requirement of the ASME Code for the pressurizer nozzel-to-vessel weld and nozzle inner radius section.
We have reviewed the request and supporting information. Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.55a (a)(3)(1), we conclude that the proposed alternatives will provide an acceptable level of quality and safety, and thus the relief may be granted as requested. Our Safety Evaluation is enclosed.
