Corrective Action and Recurrence Control Taken or To Be Taken The immediate corrective action is to test all MIS-5 fuses required to maintain operability in Mode 5.
This test will ensure no defective fuses are contained in these circuits. Capability of conclusive testing has been ensured by Bussman Manufacturing. This test consists of either a resistivity measurement or an amperage measurement to determine operability. The acceptance criteria for the operability check is a resistance of 55 to 65 milli-ohn:s or successfully passing a current of one ampere.
Long-term corrective action will be based on the cause of the defect which is currently under evaluation by Bussman Manufacturing.
