Lynch Systems Analysis Branch Involved: Analysis Branch Description of Review: Acceptance Review Requested Completion Date: 4/19/78 Review Status: Rejected The Analysis Branch has reviewed, for acceptance, section 4.4 of' the WNP-2 FSAR. Most of section 4.4 is thcluded by reference to NEDE-20944; section 4 of that topical was found unacceptable for reference in October,1977 (October 12. 1977 Memorandum to D.F.
Ross from Z.R. Rosztoczy, " Review of GE Report Entitled BWR/4 and BWR/5 Fuel Designs"). Therefore, section 4.4 of the WNP-2 FSAR is not sufficiently complete to proceed with the review. In addition, there is no comitment to install a vibration and loose parts monitoring system; one must be installed prior to power operation.
