Litton Requested Completion Date: April 19, 1978 Description of Task: Acceptance Review Review Status: Complete The Metallurgy and Materials Integrity Sections of the Materials Engineering Branch, Division of Systems Safety, conducted an acceptance review of the FSAR for WNP 2 during April and May,1977. As a result, we recomended that the FSid be accepted for docketing.
I Subsequently, the FSAR was rejected for lack of information in sections reviewed by other branches. We have been infomed that the FSAR has been revised and resubmitted on March 29, 1978, and that the sections within our scope of review have not been changed. Based on this under-standing, we will not repeat our acceptance review. Our assessment of completeness of the FSAR should be considered the same as contained in our memoranda dated April 20 and May 4, 1977.
We continue to recomend acceptance of the FSAR for docketing.
