A caeting was held on July 29, 1977, between representatives of the t'. ark II owners, the General Electric Co., (GE) and the t:RC Staff.
i The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the structure and schedule for the Mark II owner's group Short Tem Program (STP) and Long Tem Program i
(LTP). The attendees list and copies of the slides given to attendees i
are enclosed.
The major topics discussed are a!. follows:

The 11 ark II progran was restructured to include both a short and long term program in May, 1977. Since May, the Ttark II owner's have not l

Ua stated our cencern that the STP as discussed at this meeting did not l
include analytical programs identified as STP tasks at the May 10 and 18, 1977 meeting with the staff. Based on the infomation presented at this meeting, we will establish staff requirements for Tasks to be included in the STP.

Schedule Conflicts 1.'e stated our concern that schedule slips in the STP would result in pool dynamics cemaining an ocen issue for the lead " ark II plants, Zimmer and Shorcham.
It was decided that we would review the status of open pool dynamic issues at the next ouner's group meeting in August,1977, so that the lead plants could detemine if greater j
emphasis should be placed on the lead plant's structural capability l
instead of waiting on the final resolution of pool dynamic loads at the conclusion of the STP.

CA0P,50 Test l
The Mark II owner's have requested a meeting with the staff regarding the CA0RSO test as soon as possible. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss staff concerns related to instrumentation and conduct of the test. A meeting will be scheduled with the Ti1 for relief valve loads.
