SUMMARY

LMonth: April, 1987 McGuire Unit i began the month at 100% pcwer. On 4/15 at-1014, the unit tripped during the calibration of oil pressure switches associated with the turbine.

The unit returned to service on 4/16 at 1400 and increased power to 100% where it remained for the rest of the month.

NARRATIVE

SUMMARY

' Months -April, 1987-McGuire Unit 2 operated at 100% until 4/30 when power was reduced due to the loss of' safety instrumentation. The unit reduced power to-50% before the instrumentation had been re-established.

It remained at that level for.the rest of the month.
