I.

SUPNARY OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE W e' unit operated near 100 percent _ power throughout most of the month.

Rod Control problens were experienced twice during the' month, on April 19, and 23. Each time boration to Hot Standby was connenced, but reactor trips occurred at 60 and 50 percent power respectively.

II.

MAJOR SAFETY RELATED MAINTENANCE ACfIVITIES 1.

Replaced the lube oil tenperature indicator KJ TI-121 for the "B"

Diesel Generator.

2.

Replaced the power isolation printed circuit board for containnent purge exhaust radiation monitor GP RE-33.

3.

Replaced the regulator for the charging control valve BG HCV-182.

4.

Replaced pressure switch BG PS-0018 for Centrifugal Chargiry Pump "B" auxiliary lube oil punp.

5.

We power operated relief valve for Steam Generator "C" was reworked.

III. CHANGES, TESTS, AND EXPERIMENTS Safety evaluations performed pursuant to 10 CFR 50.59 on changes, tests, and experiments will no longer be reported on a monthly basis.

. An annual report will be subnitted, as required by Technical Specifications.
