1 87-007 PC VALV0P an NRC inspection of our EQ(10CFR50. 4 program revealed non-qualified taped splices on SV4530 & SV4531. Correct ive action includes:
1.
A comprehensive inspection pro-gram to inspect all EQ splices &
repair as necessary.
2.
A task force formed to assess' equipment with identified dis-crepancies to determine opera-bility of same prior to shutdown.
3.
Selected EQ files to be reviewed by independent consultant.
4.
Upgrade controls in program communication and documentation.

- 3. Scheduled date for restart following refueling: June 1,1987.
- 4. Will refueling or resumption of operation thereafter require a technical specification change or other licensed amendment?
Resumption of operation after refueling will require changes to Technical Specifications. The changes will be such as to allow operation of the plant with a fresh reload batch and reshuffled core.
