Dear Mr. Taylor:
Today the Board has received a letter from Mr. Stephen B. Comley dated November 3, 1986, as well as a packet of documents. A copy of Mr. Comley's letter is enclosed.
Mr. Comely refers to the case of U. S. v. James V. Padovano, Criminal Docket No. 85-16-01-L, in the U. S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire. I would appreciate it if you would write to Mr. Comely and advise what the NRC and the Applicants have done with respect to investigating the welds which had been inspected by Mr. Padovano.
