REQUEST FOR HEADQUARTERS REVIEW OF CHANGE TO SECURITY PLAN FOR SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNIT 1 -
DOCKET NOS. 50-206, 50-361 AND 50-362 During our review of Revision 10 to the Southern California Edison (SCE) San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) Physical Security Plan, we noted that proposed changes to this plan appear to qualify as 50.54(p) changes.
However, one of the changes appears to require action at the Headquarters level since there appears to be a policy implication (Safeguards Regionalization Field Policy, Section 6.B(1)(k)). Accordingly, this submittal is forwarded for appropriate action by your office.
We have discussed aur referral with E. W. McPeek of your staff and have notified the licensee of the transfer of review responsibilities from the Regional Office to Headquarters. A copy of our letter informing the licensee of this action is enclosed, f
