EXAMINATION REPORT On March 23-27, 1987, the NRC administered examinations to employees of your company who had applied for licenses to operate your Prairie Island Nuclear Power Plant. At the conclusion of the examination, the written examination questions and answer key were given to members of your staff.
As stated in Section 2 of this report, generic weaknesses were noted during the administration of the simulator portion of the operating exam.
Please submit a response addressing the identified weaknesses to the Region III office.
The response should contain, as a minimum, your corrective action plan to address the identified weaknesses along with a date in which you will implement your proposed corrective action.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commissions regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
