Dear Mr. Martin:
Pursuant to the requirements of Reference 1, Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) is submitting the following response.
A review was conducted of the Core Spray and Residual IIeat Removal Systems to determine if any conditions described in Reference 1 existed at Cooper Nuclear Station. An evaluation of the applicable mechanical and electrical documents has concluded that no vulnerability exists in the minimum flow line of either the Core Spray or the Residual lleat Removal Systems that could cause a failure of more than one ECCS train.
General Electric has issued a letter to the District confirming this response.
