We have received your October 21, 1986 Application for Partial Exemption from the Annual Fee Requirements of 10 CFR 171. Your application will be reviewed as soon as possible.

As indicated in the terms and conditions of Invoice No. F0159 which has been sent to your Company, the filing of the exemption request will not extend the due date for the first quarterly payment of $237,500. There-fore, to avoid interest, penalty and administrative costs, we recommend that payment of the invoiced amount be made within the specified time stipulated on the invoice. Please note that under the provisions of 10 CFR 171.25, if a timely payment of the quarterly installment is not made, the balance of the annual fee becomes due and payable to the Comission. If a partial exemption is granted to your Company, the NRC will make an adjustment upon invoicing the balance of the annual fee. A refund will be made only to the extent that the annual fee payment (s) received exceed the adjusted annual fee.
