Design Classification " as the. basis for determining the extent to.which Appendix B, 10 CFR 50 is applicable to these plant features of ilPPSS-2.

1 ENCLOSURE 1 WPPSS-2 Docket No. 50-397 The following.comenst are based on the MEB review of Table 3.2-1 of the WPPSS-2 FSAR. The review was performed in order to identify those structures, systems and components that are within the scope of 10 CFR 50, Appendix B and is applicable to those plant features within the scope of the SEB, RSB, CMEB, ASB, PSB (except electrical) and MEB. The review does not include plant features within the scope of CSB, ICSB, and PSB (electrical).
The following additional items should be identified in the FSAR as within the scope of the applicant's Quality Assurance Program and in conformance with 10 CFR 50, Appendix B.
(1) Biological shielding within containment vessel, reactor building, and control building.
(2) Missilebarrierswithincontainmenthessel,reactorbuilding, control building, diesel-generator building, and standby service water pumphouses.
(3) Spent fuel pool and liner.
(4) Fuel pool cooling and cleanup system heat exchangers, pumps, and inter-connecting piping and valves that performs the cooling function.
