WPPSS-2 REVIEW SCHEDULE The purpose of this memorandum is to highlight a potential slip in our review schedule for WPPSS-2. In our efforts to conserve on our manpower resources, we have progranned a very tight review schedule for WPPSS-2; it requires timely submittals of information by the applicant. However, as of today, the applicant has not responded to either our acceptance review questions (memorandum from R. Tedesco to D. Vassallo, dated June 7,1978), or our Q-1 requests for additional infomation (memorandum from W. Butler to S. Varga, dated October 13, 1978 and November 1,1973).
Another potential problem that could have an adverse effect on our review schedule is the applicant's timely response to our request for additional infomation (November 1,1978 memorandum) regarding the catalytic recombiner of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. This recombiner has been proposed by the applicant for combustible gas control following a LOCA.
To date, we have not received a response to any of the above cited information requests. In view of our manpower shortage it is imperative that the applicant provide the information associated with the above cited requests and revision 2 to the DAR (see memorandum from M. Lynch to S. Varga, dated October 27,1973) no later than March 30, 1979, or our review schedule will be impacted.

Accordingly, we request your assistance in expediting the pending applicant respcnses to our requests for infomation and in determining the applicant's schedule for these responses. We will have to reprogram our review schedules if the submittal dates 'are later than March 30 1979.
