' REGION II INCIDENT RESPONSE PLAN As a result of the Full Field Exercise of the Federal Radiological Emergency Response Plan in early 1984, Region II incorporated " Lessons Learned" into a new Incident Response Plan.

Enclosed are Sections I and II of the new plan.

Section I is an overview of the NRC response to an Incident.

Section II is l

specific information on Region II's response to an Incident.

Because of the proprietary information in Section III, which contains personal contact and coordinating information (e.g., home telephone numbers), that portion of the Plan has not been provided.

Revisions to the Plan will be forwarded to you. We request that you acknowledge receipt of this revision to the Plan by signing the enclosed acknowledgement form and returning it to the attention of Christine Banks, Emergency Planning Assistant, at the address specified in the letterhead.
