B0MB THREAT The NRC Resident Inspector, at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, Plymouth, Massachusetts, received a telephone call at 2:40 p.m., A.ugust 26, 1986 stating "There are three bombs at Pilgrim that are going to go off unless they stop loading fuel at Seabrook". The caller hung up immediately. The resident informed the licensee and bomb search procedures and cnhanced security measures were immediately implemented. The search yielded negative results and was completed at 6:00 p.m August 26, 1986. The enhanced security measures were terminated at 6:30 a.m., August 27, 1986.
Funi is on site at Seabrook, however, the earliest possible time for fuel load is late S:ptember, 1986.
Similar threats were made against both Seabrook and Pilgrim on August 24, 1986.

The FBI was notified by the licensee. The Infonnation Assessment Team and the Comon-wealth of Massachusetts have been notified.
This PNS is issued for information only and is current as of 10:30 a.m., August 27, 1986.
No additional action is planned by the NRC at this time.
