Subject: Combined Inspection Report Nos. 50-277/87-03; 50-278/87-03
A routine safety inspection was conducted by Mr. H. Bicehouse of this office
on January 26-30, 1987, of the water chemistry control program at the Peach
Bottom Atom,c Power Station, Delta, Pennsylvania of activities authorized by
NRC License Nos. DPR-44 and DPR-56. Our findings were discussed with
Mr. R. Fleischmann and others of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection
on January 30, 1987.

The areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
combined Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures
and representative records, interviews with personnel and observations by the
inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
