By letter dated June 23, 1986, the B&W Owners Group submitted Topical Report No. BAW-1921 entitled " Generic Technical Specifications, Surveillance, and Bases for B&W Operating Plants" to the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) for review. Under the provisions of 10 CFR 170.21.J, requests for review of topical reports and revisions or amendments to accepted reports are to be accompanied by an application fee of $150. Subsequently, companies are-to be billed at six-month intervals or when the review is completed (Section 170.12(f)) for full costs up to $20,000 for each topical report or revision to an accepted topical report. Your June 23, 1986 request was not accompanied by the required application fee of $150. Therefore, the B&W Owners Group is requested to remit this application fee to our office.
