Dear Mr. Denton:
By letter dated July 1, 1986, pursuant to 10CFR50.71, Duke Power submitted thirteen copies of the 1985 Update for t.he McGuire Final Safety Analysis Report.
Subsequently we have identified errors in the update package requiring the reissue of three pages of the update. Please find attached thirtaen copies of these three pages that should be inserted into the McGuire Final Safety Analysis Report.

McGuire Nuclear Station Final Safety Analysis Report By my letter of July 31, 1986, the 1985 Update of the McGuire Nuclear Station Final Safety Analysis Report was distributed.
Subsequently, errors have been identified requiring the reissue of three pages. These three pages are attached and should be inserted into the McGuire FSAR.

j Additionally, figure 9.3.4-3, sheet 1 of 4 is incorrectly labeled as sheet 1 of 2.
This will be corrected in the next annual update.
Any additional errors should be noted and sent to Licensing for inclusion in the 1986 Update.
