Gentlemen:
This is-to acknowledge receipt of Rsvision 6 to the Fermi 2 Radiological Emergency Response Preparedness Plan dated December 12, 1986.
This revision was received in our office on December 16, 1986.
We'have reviewed the changes to the Fermi 2 Radiological Emergency Response
-Preparedness Plan and determined that they are consistent with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(q) and do not decrease the effectiveness of the emergency plan. These changes are, therefore, acceptable.
Please be reminded that 10 CFR 50.54(q) requires NRC approval of any changes to your emergency plans which may decrease their effectiveness.
However if your safety review assures no decrease in emergency preparedness effectiv,eness, then such changes may be made without arior NRC approval.
In all cases, you must furnish copies of each proposed clange to the NRC in accordance with Also, any changes to the Emergency Plan Implementing 10 CFR 50.54(q)ld be made in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR Part 50, Procedures shou Appendix E,Section V.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
